The Weekend in Dublin

We are having a great time in Dublin. First night we watched the USA v. Ghana Football (aka soccer) game at dinner. It was fun to watch but the result stunk. When we finished dinner at 10 pm it was still light out. Awesome. The young and the old called it a night but Alex, Brittany and Charley hit the town. By the sound of them when they got home at 3:30, they had lots of fun.

Saturday, we did a long walk to Dublin's Park, which is the largest park in Europe. We will post some funny photos later. We then took a double decker bus tour throughout city, ending with a tour of the Guiness Brewery. The tour was okay but the free pint at the top of the tour was awesome. The "Gravity Bar" posts a 360 degree view of the city. Awesome!

Today, we are off to the country. Will post more later.

First days in Dublin

We had a full Irish breakfast, of course a pint of Guiness, and jet lag have all taken their toll. We're obviously having a great time.

It's the final countdown.

We've got 24 hours until we are on the plane and on our way to Ireland.
